What is DRIVES?

The Driver and Vehicle System project (DRIVES) is a 4 year effort to upgrade our driver and vehicle technology systems. DRIVES R2 is the second in a series of overhauls to our legacy driver licensing systems. DRIVES R1, which updated vehicle licensing systems, was completed in December of 2016. A third project, R3, to upgrade our Business and Professional Licensing systems, is currently underway.
