Keeping you safe
Your safety is important to us. We’ve updated our protocols to keep you and our staff safe. Please:
- Do not come in for an appointment if you are feeling ill or suspect you were exposed to COVID-19. Reschedule your appointment for a later date.
- Sanitize your hands when you arrive at the office.
- Practice social distancing and wait for instructions before approaching the counter.
- Let us know when you make an appointment if you need to bring a translator, caregiver, or dependent.

Pre-apply online
If you're getting your first Washington license, ID card, or permit, you can pre-apply online. You'll get a confirmation ID that you bring to the office. Show us the confirmation ID and we'll have all the information we need to get started.
